Diciembre 08 al 12: Tradiciones navideñas

La Navidad , se ha convertido, más allá de una celebración netamente religiosa, como lo fue en sus orígenes, en una época para compartir.

Independientemente de la fe que profesen, los estudiantes se verán rodeados por las celebraciones típicas de los costarricenses -la decoración, las comidas los portales, la carta al Niño- unidas a las costumbres universales -Santa Claus, los árboles de ciprés, la iluminación y los cantos de villancicos. Por lo tanto, es oportuno mostrar a nuestros huéspedes cómo se celebra la Navidad en Costa Rica y compartir con ellos un poco de la alegría de la época; al tiempo que su vocabulario se incrementa de acuerdo con la festividad.

December 08th – 12th: Christmas traditions

Christmas has been converted, to much more that just a religious celebration like it was originally, into a time for sharing.

Independently of the faith that students profess, they will be surrounded by the typical Costa Rican celebrations - the decoration, the meals the nativity scene, Santa's letter, together with the universal customs - Santa Claus, the Cypress trees of, the lights and the Christmas carols. Therefore, this is the opportunity to show our guests how Christmas in Costa Rica is celebrated, and also we can share with them a little of the joy of this special occasion; while at the same time, increasing their vocabulary.
