Any person of any country and any mother tongue can apply for the "Diplomas de Español DELE", issued by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry for Education of Spain. This premier diploma accredits levels of competence and command of the Spanish language and are recognized worldwide by private companies, chambers of commerce, and public & private educational systems.

Registration for the tests must be effected at a DELE examination centre within the period established for each examination session.

The CPI Admissions Department can aid in completing the registration process.

Centro Panamericano de Idiomas (CPI Heredia) has been accredited by Instituto Cervantes, which means it meets the conditions set by the Instituto Cervantes Accreditation System for Centres, the only international accreditation exclusively focused on the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language.
