COST and DATES:

2012 course start dates per campus and costs for the Monthly Medical Program are as follows:

1 week: US$430

2 weeks: US$830

3 weeks: US$1,155

Cost of classes each week includes 4 hours of Medical Spanish per day and a specialized Spanish textbook.

Students who decide to volunteer and take the medical observation will have the opportunity to volunteer at a public local clinic in San Joaquín de Flores call Jorge Volio Clinic.  This program takes place only in the Heredia campus. 

Students will have the opportunity to choose among different medical specialties to volunteer.  Please let us know which your area of interest is at the time of filling out your Registration Form!

Observation is in the mornings from 8.00 a.m to 11:00 a.m. and the Spanish classes would be in the afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m from Monday to Friday.

On your first day at the clinic, a CPI staff member will be accompanying you to introduce you to the doctor in charge and show you the place around.

Minimum level of advanced beginner required for the medical observation.

*Excursions and transportation between campuses are not included in the above prices.

Dates

If you cannot register in the above dates, CPI can offer you the seminar in a private model for an extra fee of $50 dollars per week.

ACCOMODATION:

HOMESTAY: US$150 per person per week. It includes 2 meals and laundry service, 7 nights from Sunday to Sunday.

STUDIO APARTMENT: CPI Heredia and CPI Monteverde: US$350 per week.
CPI Flamingo: US$375 per week. It includes 7 nights from Sunday to Sunday, 1-2 people. Totally furnished.

STUDENT RESIDENCY: CPI Heredia and CPI Monteverde US$150 per week per person. CPI Flamingo: US$175 per week per person. It includes 7 nights from Sunday to Sunday, double bedroom with private bathroom.
