SOCCER CAMP SPECIFICS
During the two-week program students will train three mornings per week. The soccer sessions will focus on training, drills and game play, allowing players to learn the unique aspects of the Latin American soccer game. Students practice in small groups and one-on-one with Coach Granados. A day involves warm-ups and a brief discussion of the skills the coach and players will focus on that day. Then the players split into teams and scrimmage. At the end of practice, the players cool down and Coach Granados will discuss the high and low points of the match, and what needs improvement. All in all, the players practice for 3 hours per day and refreshments are available during the soccer training sessions. Matches against outside opposition will be organized as well. Accommodation and Food During their stay, students live with a local home-stay family, in order to experience the people, culture, and daily life of Costa Ricans, as well as practice Spanish in a safe, but real-life environment. The families will provide breakfast and dinner each day, as well as laundry service. Lunch is provided each day at a local restaurant, consisting of typical Costa Rican dishes. What to bring?
