Friday was a busy day! In the morning, instead of having regular classes, the students walked with their teacher to a nearby high school called Colegio Técnico Profesional de Flores. As the high school students are learning english, we had the privilege to watch and participate at their English Festival. We saw some dances and presentations, followed by a delicious breakfast.
After that, it was the CPI students' turn to shine! They were in front of the audience, which consisted of the entire 7-11th grade students and their teachers. In Spanish, they said their name, how old they were and what they liked to do! None of them seemed shy at all! They owned the stage and the high school clapped at their great introductions! We then had to head back to the CPI, where we had lunch and headed off to the Amusement Park.
In El Parque de Diversiones, or amusement park, the students were able to ride all roller coasters and rides, eat cotton candy and doughnuts! Some of them were even brave enough to go to the haunted house! After a long afternoon of fun games, we headed back to the host families, where they packed their bags for the final adventure.
