While all CPI teachers have mastered the customized CPI methodology, CPI recognizes the importance of being exposed to the unique and varied styles of different professors; as such, each week students change professors in order to experience different expressions, vocabulary, accents and conversation topics.
Numerous studies have proven that students have a mix of different learning styles. While each of these styles have been taken into consideration in the development of our methodology, we also understand that certain personalities, instruction styles, explanations and activity development might facilitate a certain “click”. For this reason, we seek to afford our Spanish students this opportunity by changing CPI professors weekly. This rotation will also give students a more complete and genuine understanding of the complex Costa Rican culture by exposing them to additional interactions with more locals.
