Located on the gorgeous Guanacaste coastline, CPI Flamingo is surrounded by famed beaches and scattered mangroves. Flamingo Beach is specifically famed for tree-lined white sand beaches and crystal clear water.
At CPI Flamingo Beach, students have the opportunity for serious Spanish study in a vacation environment thanks to the professionalism and extensive experience of our teachers who aim to boost students’ confidence and enjoyment of learning Spanish.
After class take a dip in the CPI pool looking out onto the dry forest mangrove or head to the beach to spread out your beach towel and do your homework. Up for a bit more adrenaline? Learn how to surf in Tamarindo Beach, sail towards the sunset on a catamaran cruise, horseback ride along the coast line, SUP, or sea kayak. If you have 2 weeks, CPI Flamingo offers the unique opportunity to combine Spanish immersion with an Open Water Diver Certification course through the most recognized scuba center in the Flamingo area. Submerge yourself and enjoy the diverse sea life of the Pacific Ocean where hundreds of unique and colorful fish and coral reefs reside!
CPI Flamingo is nestled in the center of a peaceful ocean side community with a more touristic feel. For those students who would like more of a cultural experience, CPI Flamingo offers the opportunity to live with host families in the towns of Potrero, Brasilito, Huacas and Lajas. Living with the friendly local people in towns that are a 20 minute drive away (CPI Flamingo offers transportation daily), allows our students to experience the distinct ‘Guanacasteca’ culture and the typical fare of the zone. While the houses may be considered more basic than at our other sites, the warmth expressed to our students is invaluable.
